Tournament Stadium Policies

The tournament stadium policies strictly require spectator flags, banners, and posters to be made of fire-resistant/fire-retardant material. 

Handheld flags and banners must not exceed 2meters x 1.5 meters (78" x 60"); any larger items require advance organizer approval and often demand official fire-safety certification.

 Key Requirements & Policies

• Handheld/Medium Flags: Flags up to 2meters x 1.5 meters (78" x 60") are generally permitted at turnstiles without prior clearance, but stewards strictly enforce the fire-resistant fabric rule.

• Large Banners & TIFOs: Any banner exceeding standard dimensions requires prior approval. If you plan to bring a large flag, you should request clearance from the stadium's fan liaison or security team.

• Fire Certificates: Stewards frequently spot-check flags. If your flag or banner is large or custom-made, it is highly recommended to carry a printed or digital copy of your fabric's flame-retardant certificate to prevent confiscation at the gate.

• Flagpoles: Solid flagpoles and sticks (especially metal or heavy plastic) are considered prohibited weapons and are not allowed into the stadium. Flexible, hollow plastic tubing is sometimes permitted if it meets the size limit, but policies vary.
